Manchester United announced Friday that they have "initiated the appropriate steps" in response to star striker Cristiano Ronaldo's recent interview.
Ronaldo gave an interview to TalkTV's Piers Morgan in which he said he felt betrayed by the club, expressed his lack of respect for manager Erik ten Hag and questioned whether he would return to the team.
Manchester United's statement said they would not comment further on the matter "until this process comes to an end."
